What you can see are the new issues which arise when trying to set up a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).<br \/>\nEvery new technology solves some problems but at the same time raises new questions.<br \/>\nThat&#8217;s the great thing about information technology, isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>Let me give you a short summray of the most interesting topics:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Generic service interfaces<br \/>\n&#8211; Dealing with referenced and replicated data<br \/>\n&#8211; Different service levels, service categorisation<br \/>\n&#8211; Service versioning<br \/>\n&#8211; Service contract lifetime <br \/>\n&#8211; Distributing service semantics<br \/>\n&#8211; Universal entity modeling<\/p>\n<p>I would be happy to hear your ideas about these topics.<br \/>\nFeel free to contact me if your are at TechEd or anywhere else.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today I attended a panel discussion about Web Service architecture.
